E-learning is simply electronic learning and the use of electronic media typically on internet. It is designed and implemented using the latest web technologies to overcome the problems that we have in teaching and learning process. The new system has been decreased the problems of teaching learning processes by recording all trainees activities in centrally managed database. In this system the trainer can perform different activities such as upload latest announcements, online quizzes, upload resources, register student, manage student accounts, etc. All trainees can take online examinations, download resources, and see their result online.
The proposed system is designed based on the web based application so it is necessary in that it will alleviate the current problems that have been observed in learning teaching processes held in IVET colleges. E-learning helps the students to create and communicate new ideas , skills and gain knowledge apart from college education. It helps teachers to develop advanced skills, keeps up to date with technologies and improve time management skills. The features that make this project significant is that it give services such as trainee registration, online assessment , provide online resources, announcements and other learning related services. These services can enhance the capability of the institute so; it is Unquestionable that this project is significant.
